A Physiological Approach to Cultural Healing and Whole-being

The Nurtured Life seeks to mend the foundational physiological processes essential for individual and cultural wellbeing.

This requires we recognize the subtle miscommunication of data received by our bodies and deepen our capacity for presence/connection to self and others through practices that foster sensory attention, articulation, and awareness.

For sustained change, we must create a real life immersion structure for a healing pathway that is relevant, practical, and action based

Culture

Culture is supposed to provide a framework for wellbeing; a life-guide that doesn’t require constant laborious evaluation while simultaneously connecting all individual members in the collective spirit.

Our current dominant culture leads us away from wellbeing and a connection to collective spirit through severing us from ourselves, each other, Nature, and divinity. When we feel alone and isolated, our sympathetic nervous system is activated because humans are designed for collective care.

Our bodies, minds, and spirits need support in finding our way back to wholeness because it has become so unfamiliar to us. When we do this work together, we can both support each other and design new cultural pathways to wellbeing.

The Nurtured Life Mission:

To nurture recognition and healing of damaged evolutionary lifeways affecting spirituality and human development through the cultivation of tangible wisdom-based life practices. 

Lifeways: A term used to describe the ecological and deeply connected systems which support a way of life. Lifeways occur naturally and are the foundation upon which wisdom-based life practices grow.

Tanglible Wisdom-Based Life Practices: Life practices are the behaviors and actions which organize our worldview. Tangible wisdom-based practices support and maintain the connection of our individual bodies, minds, and spirits to the whole of life.
