A soundheart can balance with grace at the pinnacle of presence. This requires the courage and ability to slip, and the agility to re-balance almost constantly. Through this practice we find that grace and balance are an experience of appropriate tension, not a state of ease or relaxation. And yet, ease and calm are the physiological outcomes of this process.
We find the sense of flow we seek when we hold the appropriate tension in our mental, emotional, and physical states.

collective incentive
There is currently no available path forward to a future of collective wellbeing. That is one of the reasons we keep “treading water” rather than choosing forward actions. We will need to build a bridge to that future if we want it to materialize. The future we wish is one that manifests through the actions we take towards it.
In order to do this we will need to develop new tools for the journey, we will need to train ourselves to be ready for the experience, and we will need funding to make all of that possible. As a member of SOUNDheart, you will support the development of a new non-profit to engage with research and practice development for cultural wellbeing.

Monthly offerings:
One interview with individuals from various fields and contexts to integrate the interdisciplinary nature of cultural wellbeing study (as available).
Printable Calendar Page with SOUNDheart dates as well as important dates on the wheel of the year and lunar cycle.
Recorded Meditation with follow up prompt. Most months I will create and record a guided meditation to support some aspect of the work we are doing together. This could be a meditation to support stillness, or one to energize. Seasonal themes as well as our personal and collective nervous systems will guide my choice of meditation offerings.
Twice-Monthly Soundheart Coffee time check-in. These coffee time zoom chats are an opportunity to gather with other SOUNDheart Members. We will discuss the monthly practices, offer observations, share barriers, and offer support to each other on this path.
Relevant resources or organizations features. Each month I will feature 2-3 resources or organizations to know and explore. This section of the membership area will continue to grow with resources you can reach for yourself or to share with others. Features will also develop our knowledge about what other organizations are offering, what is important to them, and how we can build more sustainable actions together.
Short list of monthly actions. Easy and attainable small changes/choices you can choose from as a prompt to action without all the personal research and decision making. Think of this as actions menu, each month you can choose what feels attainable. These small actions, engaged together, will give us a sense of accountability and build our capacity for change over time.
